Organisational (in)equality in the international development sector
Emily Cook-Lundgren is a doctoral researcher within the Organization Studies group at the University of Edinburgh Business School. Her research explores issues of organizational (in)equality in the international aid development sector, with a particular focus on the experience of host country national employees. Prior to pursuing her PhD, Emily served as Country Director of Innovations for Poverty Action in Rwanda, and previously held research and management positions with the same organization in Kenya. She has also consulted for a variety of other organizations in the sector. Emily holds a MSc in Foreign Service/International Development from Georgetown University and a BA in Psychology and French from the College of Saint Benedict.
